Our topic this term is World War II.
The children will have great fun learning about aspects of the war such as: who was involved, rationing and evacuation.

World War II Dress Up Topic Day
On Wednesday 1st February 2017, we will be having our World War II topic/dress up day. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed as a WWII evacuee.
Parents and carers are invited to our topic showcase on Wednesday 1st February at 2.15 - 2.45pm in the large hall to see the children's fantastic topic learning.
World War II Topic Day
On Wednesday 21st September, the children had their first introduction to what life was like during World War II. They have been thoroughly enjoyed having Sir Teachalot come in and explore topics such as evacuation and rationing and even sung some World War II songs!
It was an incredibly informative and enjoyable day and the children are looking forward to studying this topic in further depth.
World War II Showcase
Our fantastic year 6s finished term 3 with an outstanding showcase to parents and carers. On display were their individual projects they had completed at school and their topic books as well as Dig for Victory posters and other art work completed during this topic. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about this period in British history and are excited to find out what our next topic will be....
