By the end of this week (26th May) your child will be bringing home a brown envelope which will contain a hard copy of the power point and letter uploaded here, explaining how to register for the Kent Test.
It will also contain their standardised scores of tests we have recently undertaken in school, which should give you a clear indication of whether they should be registered, or not.
It is your responsibility as a parent to register your child and failure to do so by 3rd July will result in them being unable to take the test in September.
In order to avoid unnecessary pressure and anxiety on your child please only register them if they have a realistic chance of achieving the benchmark which in 2023 was an aggregate score of 332 and no single score falling below 108.
If you have any questions regarding the suitability of your child to be registered or any questions regarding the registration process, please do not hesitate to contact your class teacher.
