In today's starter activity we are revising number bonds by boarding the mental maths train! The link to the online game is below and follow the instructions in the video to find out what number bonds you need to practice according to your maths group. For the main focus of today's lesson, we are interpreting information from a bar chart to answer questions. There are separate tasks and worksheets for each group so if you are working from a worksheet then please print off the correct one depending on your child's maths group below. There is also a worksheet for the optional extensions below if you would like to use that as well.
The starter for today's maths lesson is 'Hit the Button' again. You may want to practice the times table that you did not do yesterday or if you feel you need more practice on that one, then pick that one again. The link to the starter is below. For the main lesson we are going to be learning about and creating our own bar charts. You will need to use PurpleMash to create them using data you receive in the lesson. The link to PurpleMash is below as well.
In today's lesson we are creating a tally chart as well as interpreting the data from one in order to answer some questions. To access today's starter 'Hit the Button' please follow the correct link below. If you would prefer to print today's work then each class' questions as well as the optional extensions are available to download below as well.
We are starting a new unit on statistics and data handling. In this lesson we are focusing on being able to interpret pictograms which is a type of chart used to represent data. There are different questions depending on whose Maths class you are in, the links to them and the extensions can be found below if you would like to print the questions.
