In this lesson, we will be using what we have learnt so far to solve problems involving money. We look at traditional word problems involving addition and subtraction as well as other types of problems as well. The video will appear long however you will need to skip at different points depending on whose maths set you are in. There are worksheets below if you would like to print and use them.
In this lesson, we are learning how to give change from an amount of money. We explore 2 other strategies we can use for subtraction when we do not have enough pennies at the beginning to take away. There are worksheets below if you would like to print and use them.
In this lesson, we are learning how to subtract money. The first strategy we look at is subtracting individual coins and notes from our total to find the answer. The second strategy we are learning to use is subtracting the pounds numbers followed by the pennies and then putting your answers together at the end.
In this maths lesson, we will recap the what we learnt about money from the previous term and then continue by learning how to add different money totals together. If you would like to print and use a worksheet then they are available below.
