Watch the video to hear the end of the story 'The Princess and the Wizard' and then practise sequencing the story and writing a descriptive caption to match the ending of the story.

Challenge: choose a picture from the ending of the story or draw your own.  Think of the caption you could write to match.  Have you used any FANTASTICs in your caption?  If not, can you add any in before you write it?  Write your caption in your purple book - make sure you have used your sentence rules.


Today we are continuing our learning about subtraction fact families. To warm up for maths today, have a go at a few questions on this game:

Warm up - can you sing the alphabet?  There are lots of videos on YouTube you can sing-a-long to.  We used Boom Shake Alphabet.

Challenge: practise writing words with the 'air' trigraph in: chair, fair, fairy, pair, Clair, flair

Can you add the sound buttons (sausage and beans) underneath like in the video?

Can you make up a sentence with more than one 'air' word in it?

Write them in your purple book.

Guided Reading:

We are going to finish reading 'Everyone Got Wet' on the Oxford Owl website.  Before you read / listen to the rest of the story (or the whole book again) see if you can answer some of the questions below.  Once you have read the book you will be able to answer the rest of the questions.  If you are able to, you can play the activities on the website linked to the book too.
