Today, there is a really fun online lesson by the BBC all about 'Creatures and Colour'.

You can join them on a very special winter school trip to the zoo for a Live Lesson, in partnership with Chester Zoo, on Monday 7 December at 2pm.

Naomi Wilkinson and Mr Smith will be joined by zoo ranger Sean, as well as a whole host of magnificent beasts, to investigate why animals are different colours. Why can a chameleon camouflage? Why does a tiger have stripes? And why is a butterfly so beautifully bright? They’ll tackle these questions and more!

Below is the link to the website where you can watch the video lesson live and I have also put a link to some lovely resources that go with the lesson too!

If you manage to join in with the lesson, please send us pictures of anything you do based on this lesson onto your Class Dojo portfolio!

These are the worksheets that the children can complete as the lesson happens live.

Create an animal fact file!

This is a printable game based on Top Trumps!
