It is our last week of the school term which is usually filled with lots of Christmas themed fun - but not to worry as we will save all that fun up and have it when you return to school in January.
Your lessons today consist of Literacy, maths, phonics annd topic. We hope you are all still safe and working hard. We look forward to seeing your work either on Tapestry or in your purple books when you return back to school.
Watch the video of Edgar the dragon. We will be thinking about different scenarios that happen to him and how he might feel and what he might be thinking.
Challenge 1: Look at the 5 scenarios below and the different emoji's. Which emotion would Edgar be feeling in all these different situations? Either print out the picture or copy the scenarios into your purple book. Next to each one draw the emoji that best describes how Edgar would have been feeling.
This week in maths we are thinking about positional language, words that describe where something is.
We will be setting you different challenges to practise using these words. You can take photos or even a little video to upload onto Tapestry so we can see how you are getting on!
In phonics today we are thinking about consonant blends again and using them to write CVCC and CCVC words.

Today for topic we are asking you to design your own Christmas card. You have a choice of -
- Logging on to PurpleMash and completed a Christmas card (below is a video showing you how to do this)
- Downloading one of the colouring in Christmas cards
- Using one of the ideas as inspiration to create your own card.
We really look forward to seeing which one you decide to make!
