As it’s the last day of this term, it’s time to set our families an Easter challenge.
As you know, the OPAL team have been busy creating the fairy gardens in both key stages. We have used tyres as the border to the path but it looks a little bare.
So this is where our families come in.
We would love for our children to create something that could sit inside the tyres and make the area even more beautiful.
So, we were wondering whether you would be able to decorate and plant a plant pot which would line the sides of the pathways to our fairy gardens. This would make the area much brighter and colourful. I have attached some examples for inspiration. There is no theme for the decoration, so let the children’s creativity flow!
We were also wondering whether we had any parents who could create medium sized wishing wells which we would like to add to the fairy garden areas. (Please see image). We only need two, so if you are able to do this, please let me know and I will post on here to say they are underway.
Our final assessment for our OPAL grading is the first Wednesday back after Easter. Wednesday 22nd April.
The OPAL team will be in over the holiday to ensure everything is ready for the first day back and ready for our assessment. The team have worked so hard to ensure our play offer here at Hampton is the best. These changes have had a great impact on play and behaviour across the school.
This is our last push now to achieving the OPAL Platinum award. We can do this.
Thank you again for all of your continued support.
If I don’t see you, have a great Easter break and I will look forward to seeing you and all of the lovely creations on Monday 20th April.
