Today we are going to practice writing our spelling words for this week. If you have access to colouring pens/pencils use them to make the words as colourful as possible, if not then make each letter different crazy sizes! The second task is a dictated sentence activity, which has some of our tricky words and 'ph' phonics words in too! I will go through the spellings of each word at the end. Enjoy :)
13/1/21 - Phonics
Today we are looking at the 'ph' sound from our spelling list this week. Our main activity includes 6 words with missing digraphs! We need to work together to fill in the missing digraphs and complete the words. You can write the main activity straight into your home learning book/on a piece of paper. Enjoy!:)
12/1/21 - Phonics
Today we are continuing to look at the ‘wh’ sound in phonics and our main activity is looking at a postcard and finding all the words with ‘wh’ sounds! There are a lot! I will read the postcard to you and then you can pause the video and have a go at the activity. You will need a piece of paper/home learning book and a pencil – enjoy :)
11/01/21 - Phonics
Today we are looking at our new 'wh' sound along with this weeks spelling words. We need to sort out the real words from the fake words in my mixed up list! If possible, please use a piece of paper/home learning book and a pencil to complete the activity.
