Todays lesson is all about unkind words and compliments. We will start the lesson with some calming, relaxation time, listening to music and focusing on breathing. For the activities today you will need a pen, colouring pencils if you have them at home and 2 x pieces of paper. Activity 1 is about getting rid of negative/unkind words. Write down any unkind words that you may have heard or been called before on a piece of paper and then... SCRUNCH IT UP! RIP IT TO PIECES and throw it in the recycling bin. How did that make you feel? Activity 2 is to create a compliment card to give to someone in your house. Once you have created it and given it to them, how did it make that person feel? What was their body language/facial expression like?
