Dear Parents and Carers,
We have been so impressed to see lots of you continuing with your home learning this week. Please continue to share you photographs on Tapestry, we love to be able to see what the children are doing at home.
This week our handwriting letter to learn is 'x', please use the Letter Join website or watch the handwriting video on Tapestry to see the correct cursive formation of this letter. In Phonics we will be learning to read and write 'qu' and 'or' words, always make sure when writing the children have their sound mat to support them. Children can access a reading book on the Oxford Owl or Collins Big Cat website, we recommend reading at least 1 book a week. Please also read books to your child for pleasure, our topic is 'Fairy Tales' and our focus story this week is 'Jack & the Beanstalk'. In Maths we are exploring length and height. We will continue to add weekly well being activities to the website. We will be working on these plans for any Key Worker children that are attending school this week.
There is no need to print any resources, when needed just use paper, pens and household objects. As our story focus is 'Jack & the Beanstalk' we have included an activity where the children plant their own seed and watch it grow..
Please email your class teacher if you need any support with the home learning.
Thank you for all your support, keep safe

Road Safety Activities
This story is a fun but serious introduction to road safety, the children are encouraged to think about safe and unsafe behaviours throughout. There are also some ideas for extra learning at the end of the video. Please take the time to share this message with your children at home.
My Active Rainbow Challenge
It is important to keep ourselves active even though we are at home.
Can you join in with the 'Active Rainbow Challenge' this week?
This is also on the class page of our school website.
Get active and have fun completing the challenges :)
