Dear Parents and Carers,
This week would have been Sports Week at Hampton where we would have had our Sports Day activities altogether. In school we would have also had our 'Happy Healthy Hampton' day. Throughout the week we would have learnt about all the different ways to keep our bodies healthy and happy. Our plan this week has an element of this learning, so sports shoes are an essential requirement! Don't forget last week we set a new rainbow inspired active challenge - we would love as many children to take part as possible. It is a way for you to stay fit and healthy at home. It is fun, easy and has lots of different creative ways to keep your bodies and minds active, as well as individual and home learning challenges. Use it just to give you ideas, or complete and submit the challenges by the end of August to earn rewards. We have attached the challenge again this week.
We have attached next week’s home learning pack here and on Tapestry. For next week we are continuing our Topic 'Fairy-tales’ with the story 'The Gingerbread Man', we will be briefly recapping our number bonds to 10 and will be learning about measure and weight. We will be reading, spelling and writing words and captions in Literacy and writing our own short story. We shall also be doing daily handwriting, a daily reading pledge and if you can please use the Oxford Owls or Collins Big Cat website to access reading books. This will enable the children to continue to practise their individual reading skills at the appropriate level.
Thank you for your continued support and for sharing all your fantastic work with us.
