Dear Parents and Carers,
We have reached the final week of home learning and, sadly, the final week of Foundation Stage. Thank you to all parents and children for all of your fantastic support and work during this time – it has been amazing! We know the year has not ended how we might hope, but hopefully, from September, we will be able to welcome all children back and we will be able to pop our heads into your new classrooms to say 'hello'. We will also be on the playground on the first day back into school to help you find your way, so look out for us, we can't wait to see you again.
For the final week we have set three reading, handwriting and maths tasks, but also three tasks sent from Mrs Burkitt, Miss Norman, Mrs Bryant and Miss Siddall in Year 1, with transition activities which will give them a chance to get to know you a bit better. Each of them will also be able to see your posts to Tapestry so send them some of your transition activities. We have also added a passport to Year 1 which you may wish to complete or talk about with your child over the Summer holiday.
We hope that you will be able to have a fantastic and relaxing summer break – should you wish to carry on learning over the summer, we can highly recommend the resources on the Oak Academy website here: https://classroom.thenational.academy/
Have a great summer break and we look forward to seeing you in September.
From the Foundation Stage Team J
