 Anglo Saxon Art and Craft

This afternoon we would like you to find out all about Anglo Saxon art and craft following on from our topic day when we learnt all about the Bayeaux Tapestry. Below you will find a PPT of a PDF version (they are the same!) where you will find all the information for today's lesson.

By the end of your topic learning today, we would like you to draw, design or make a model of an Anglo Saxon artefact of your choice. This could be a brooch, buckle, necklace or another of your choice (please see the ppt for more information).

There is also a link below to some videos from the BBC which will help you with your research and artefact designing.

We look forward to seeing these on your class Dojo Portfolio

16-11-20 Look at this Powerpoint to help you find out about Anglo Saxon village life. Use the information to draw and label your own village including the geographical features (river, fields, woodland), man-made features (huts etc) and the jobs that the people would have done (draw at least 1 child and adult doing a job that would have been done in the village!)
