Transition into Year 1

Throughout this global pandemic we have been overwhelmed by the constant support of parents and the continuing resilience of our amazing children. As we near the end of Term 6, this is a time when children begin to look forward to finding out about their new class teacher and have some transitioning time.

Unfortunately as we have seen many times through this crisis things have to had to change slightly from the normal and we have had to adapt and make changes while still ensuring that everyone remains safe and still gets the best they can from school. So despite the fact that children will not be able to visit their new classrooms and physically meet their new class teachers we have put together a set of videos where your child's new class teacher will introduce themselves which you can watch below.

Alongside this during the final week of term the home learning set on Tapestry and the website will primarily focus on transition activities (like they might normally do on a 'Meet the Teacher' afternoon) and your child's new class teacher will be added onto the Tapestry account so they can begin to interact.
