In today's guided reading, we are finishing off the them of robots by looking at an informative piece about robot cats and other technology that may become available in the near future. The text and questions are available below if you would like to read it independently and answer the questions (the answers are included on the last page so please don't read those until you have had a go at the questions first).
As we near school reopening, I decided that it would be nice to start a new class text when everyone is back rather than start this week in case some children miss the beginning. I'm going to continue the robot theme for the remainder of the week so today you are studing a non-chronological report called 'Butler-Bot'. Questions are all on the second page of the document after you have read or listened to me read to you. Enjoy!
In today's lesson we begin a new three lesson unit with the theme of Robots. We start with Rusty the Squeaky Robot - a picture book by Neil Clark. Book pages are attached as well as comprehension questions. Enjoy!
