Home Learning - Week 10
Welcome back to the next week of home learning for Year 3! Before I introduce the home learning for this week I would just like to say another big thank you to parents for continuing to engage with the tasks set. I know as adults head back to work the idea of having to juggle home schooling while working is an enormous challenge, so please dip in and out as you need, and as always if you have any questions or support please contact us. For Term 6, our main topic is 'Lights, Camera, Action' and our science topic is 'Animal Homes' - both of these should be really fun and we have managed to adapt lots of the resources we would have used in school to help create the weekly home learning packs.
As always we ask you to prioritise your safety and needs of your family first however here are some suggested tasks for completing during this week while at home. You can post any photos of your work onto your Class Dojo Portfolio and your class teacher will be able to view it and comment about what you have done.
We understand that it may not be easy for some of you to print the resources however we have tried where possible to use resources which can either be looked at on screen and then completed on plain paper or can be completed electronically. It is fine to complete these activities on plain paper and send a photo of what you have done. As well as this for this week we have tried to minimise the amount of different documents which you would have to open, so have grouped the sheets together as much as possible for reading, writing, maths etc however if you would prefer them separately please contact your class teacher via Class Dojo and they can provide that.
If you are finding some of these tasks too challenging or your child is on the SEN register, please use the link at the bottom of the page for alternative provision.
One film comprehension activity, two reading comprehensions, a Pobble 365 photo and a book from the Oxford Owl website.
Two more lessons based around an excellent short film called 'Origins' and three BBC Bitesize lessons.
Four White Rose lessons based around shape, lines and angles. Friday's activity is the White Rose Challenges which I will add onto Class Dojo.
