Welcome to the PTA section of the website.


Our PTA work enormously hard to raise a significant amount of funds, which are ploughed back into the school  in various ways for the benefit of all our children.  Events range from after school Discos, sponsored events and the Summer Fair, to providing the opportunity for children to purchase items such as Mother's Day gifts and Christmas cards.  The PTA work closely with the school, and members offer various amounts of their time to help make these events possible.  The PTA also organise large community events including the Firework Extravaganza, Winter Wonderland and Happy's Circus.  More details about these large scale events can be found in the Events page under the Community tab of the website.


Below you can see some photos of the events, along with just a few of the things the PTA have funded, the latest addition being the financing of one of the school's brand new minibuses!


The school are extremely grateful for the continued support from parents, carers, pupils and the community, which help make our PTA such a success.  The PTA always need more volunteers so please email us  ( or see the document at the bottom of this page if you wish to join in the fun!




We would very much like to welcome anybody (mums, dads, grandparents, carers!) who have some spare time to come along and help us.  You do not have to attend committee meetings, although you are more than welcome to do so.  We always require help for setting up/clearing up at events, running stalls etc.  Most importantly, everyone will be made to feel very welcome. We are a friendly bunch of parents and can assure you that you will have fun.  Honest!

Wednesday 24th April, 3-4pm


The The PTA has arranged for some after school fun for Foundation Stage and Year 1 children. The fun will be in the  form of a disco and will take place from 3pm until 3.45pm on Wednesday 24th April.


The event will cost £2.00 each and the attached consent form must be brought to the PTA Kiosk at the front of the school on Monday 22nd April or Wednesday 24th April between 8.15am – 9am to enable your child to be added to the attendance list for the fun time.




SCHOOL DISCO - Friday 17th May

Years 2 and 3, 3.15pm-4.15pm, Years 4, 5 and 6, 4.30pm-5.30pm


               There will be a School Disco on Friday 17th May for Years 2 and 3 at 3.15pm until 4.15pm followed by

               Years 4, 5 and 6 at 4.30pm until 5.30pm.


                Tickets cost £2.50 and will be available from the PTA ticket kiosk situated at the front of the school near the infant

               gate on Monday 13th, Wednesday 15th and Friday 17th at 8.15am – 9am.

               The consent form on the letter MUST be returned when you purchase your ticket from the PTA kiosk. Please notify

                us of any medical issues. Please note that NO child will be allowed in without a signed consent form.

                Refreshments will be available for purchase at the disco. (We will be offering body stencilling to the

               children which, in extreme circumstances, may cause mild staining to clothes. Every care will be taken to

               avoid this).


                Please ensure that Year 2 and Year 3 children are collected promptly at 4.15pm. Year 2 will exit from their own

                classrooms and Year 3 from the red door nearest the junior entrance gate in the junior playground. At 5.30pm

                please collect from the following points: Year 4 from a Year 3 classroom (sign in window) in the junior

                playground, Year 5 from the red door nearest junior entrance gate and Year 6 from the red doors at the

                end of the school building, opposite the play equipment. All doors will be appropriately labelled as collection

                 points to assist you. We cannot be responsible for any children after this time.



Friday 14th June


      We are holding a non-uniform day on Friday 14th June to help provide items for the

      Summer Fair, to be held on Friday 21st June, 3.00pm-4.30pm.


        We would be very grateful if you could help us by providing the following:-


        Reception and Year 1 Tins and packets


Y      Years 2, 3 & 4 Any unopened gifts and toiletries


        Years 5 & 6 Bottles & jars (please take straight to reception)


         (or a donation of £1).


We  We can also find good homes for those unwanted gifts too!
