Fireworks Extravaganza 2023
Fri 03 Nov 2023Tickets are now on sale for this year's Fireworks Extravaganza.
Your PTA are once again organising a professional fireworks display for the community of Herne Bay.
Alongside the main display which will start at 7pm, there will be funfair rides, sideshows, hot food and refreshments available to purchase.
Due to safety regulations we will be limited to selling a maximum of 2,000 tickets. We will be giving the pupils of Hampton School the opportunity to purchase tickets before the advertising posters are displayed in the local area and the tickets go on general sale. We have kept the ticket prices as reasonable as possible and they are priced at £5 each if purchased in advance, and £7 each on the day (if there are tickets still available by then!). Children under 3 years old are free (i.e 2 years and under).
The gates will open at 5.30pm so you can come and join in the fun that will build up to this year’s amazing firework display, scheduled to be fired at 7pm. Final admission will be 6.45pm, when the gates will close.
We hope you will support this event by purchasing your tickets in advance via the PTA kiosk. Tickets will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (8.30am – 9.00am). Please note tickets are not available from the school office.
Thank you for your support which is greatly appreciated.
Please see our Community Events page under the News & Events tab for further information.

PTA Events Programme
Fri 26 May 2023PTA Events Programme 2023
We are writing to our parents, carers and extended families asking for support - do you own a company or know of a company (maybe your place of work) that would support the school by advertising in our Events Programme this year? This programme advertises the school’s community Fireworks and Winter Wonderland events and has been very well received over the last few years.
The school benefits in numerous ways from the PTA’s fundraising efforts, which includes the funding of a school minibus at an annual cost of £5,000, in addition to subsidising school trips for every child. Christmas presents and Easter Eggs (or suitable equivalent) are purchased for every child in the school, and more recently the PTA has funded the shelter in the Forest School and has committed to funding a new shelter/friendship stop for KS1 pupils. There are also lots of smaller projects that the PTA support within the school and we are pleased to be able to help in so many areas.
With a school of 700 pupils you can appreciate that funding these school trips, purchasing Christmas presents and funding a minibus along with subsidising other projects is very costly, which is why the PTA and staff at Hampton work so hard on all our events.
If you would like to be part of our success and advertise in our upcoming programme we would very much appreciate your support. The brochure is professionally printed on quality paper by The Studio in Herne Bay. The PTA hand deliver 3,000 copies in the local community during October.
The programme is A5 in size and the advertising prices are as follows:-
Quarter A5 size - £30
Half A5 size - £60
Full Page - £110
If you would like to advertise in this programme please contact Sue Gray at events@hampton.kent.sch.uk or telephone the office of 01227 372159 to discuss further.
Alternatively, if you are interested in joining our PTA, please contact pta@hampton.kent.sch.uk.
Any support you can offer is greatly appreciated and we look forward to hearing from you.
Hampton PTA.
