Welcome to the PTA section of the website.

Our PTA work enormously hard to raise a significant amount of funds, which are ploughed back into the school  in various ways for the benefit of all our children.  Events range from after school Discos, sponsored events and the Summer Fair, to providing the opportunity for children to purchase items such as Mother's/Father's Day gifts and Christmas cards.  The PTA work closely with the school, and members offer various amounts of their time to help make these events possible.  The PTA also organise large community events including the Firework Extravaganza, Winter Wonderland and this year an Open Air Cinema.  More details about these large scale events can be found in the Events page under the Community tab of the website.

Below you can see some photos of the events, along with just a few of the things the PTA have funded, the latest addition being the financing of one of the school's brand new minibuses!

The school are extremely grateful for the continued support from parents, carers, pupils and the community, which help make our PTA such a success.  The PTA always need more volunteers so please email us  ( or see the document at the bottom of this page if you wish to join in the fun!

We would very much like to welcome anybody (mums, dads, grandparents, carers!) who have some spare time to come along and help us.  You do not have to attend committee meetings, although you are more than welcome to do so.  We always require help for setting up/clearing up at events, running stalls etc.  Most importantly, everyone will be made to feel very welcome. We are a friendly bunch of parents and can assure you that you will have fun.  Honest!

If you are interested in helping us to benefit our children then please either email, or call Carol (PTA Secretary) via the school on 01227 372159 or see her in the PTA Kiosk on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning. Alternatively see the document at the bottom of this page for more details.

By now you should have all seen the letter that was sent out regarding the PTA Get active half term.

We running this event as we have not been able to run the usual sponsored bounce this year and we thought this would be a fun alternative.

Its really simple and hopefully lots of fun for the children ...

WHEN - Half Term Week (31st May - 4th June)

HOW LONG FOR - 1 hour every day

WHAT/WHERE - Whatever and wherever you like, as long as you get active.

Get active in whichever way you choose, scoot, run, walk, bounce, skip, kick a ball, throw a ball, shuffle, dance or be as imaginative as you like by inventing something new.  You could even do a different active hour every day or split it up into 20 minute activities.  The choice is endless and completely yours!

This is a great way to get the children active whilst raising those all important funds for the school at a time when we have been very restricted in what we have been able to do and we hope that you will support us in this.

If you would like to send us some photos of you getting active then please send them to the PTA email at and we will share them here.

If you don't already have a form please find one below to print off.

Thank you to all of you that have purchased a fathers day gift from us.  We had a great response to this, as always, and the orders are now with the local supplier who is busy sorting out the gifts for us.

We will be holding a gift shop, for those that have ordered gifts only, in the week beginning the 14th June and the children will be able to bring the gifts home with them then in time for fathers day.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to take any more orders.

As always your support is greatly appreciated.

Its official we have booked the fireworks and are getting prepared for the event which we are keeping everything crossed can go ahead this year.

Everyone is looking forward to bringing the event back to you and we are working hard to ensure that it is every bit as good as previous years if not better!. So please keep the date in your diary and as soon as we have more details we will let you know.

Another date for your diary.

Sadly we were unable to run this event last year but we are hopeful that this year we will be back stronger than ever.

Watch this space for further update nearer the time.
